## Summary
Enable ILM for classic streams.
We can now overwrite template settings at the data stream level with
`PUT _data_stream/{name}/_settings` so we can enable full lifecycle
capabilities on classic stream.

@masseyke is there any blocker backporting elastic/elasticsearch#127858 to 8.19 ? It would be nice to enable this feature there as well cc @flash1293 |
